The FallenThe Fallen was a name given to the member of The Thirteen originally known as Megatronus, after he betrayed his brothers in their fight against Unicron. After Unicron's vanquishing, the Fallen set out into the Universe to find the Essence of Unicron and help restore his dark master to full strength. He eventually tracked down the weak spirit of Unicron and aided in his recovery and adoption of a new form.Once of sufficient strength, Unicron gave The Fallen orders to leave him and execute two orders. One: Return to the original battlefield, now the planet known as Cybertron, and using the forgotten technique of Sacrifica, bring Sparks into this Reality, planting a taint of evil among the populace to upset the peace on the new world, which over time would lead to the society tearing itself apart. And two: Track down the remaining members of the 13 hidden among the Stars, and destroy them. The Fallen executed both orders as instructed, killing the last of his original brothers, Prima, in
SacrificaSacrifica was the technique employed by Prima to produce Cybertron's original population of inhabitants.By placing his own Spark under enormous strain, Prima opened a window into Trans-Dimension Space, through which more Sparks entered the Physical Realm. The process was then removed from the new Cybertronian's memories. The Super-Computer Vector Sigma would regulate the flow of new Sparks into the Reality from then on.Megatronus, The Fallen, would rediscover this ability and later teach it to Jhiaxus and his Cybertronian Empire, allowing them to grow an army to see through The Fallen's (now identifying himself as the Liege Maximo) plans. Not every Cybertronian is capable of performing the technique; it requires a Spark of great strength. Because of the enormous strain it places on the individuals Spark, it can sometime overwhelm the facilitator and extinguish their Spark, killing them.
The Liege MaximoThe Liege Maximo is one of Primus' original creations - one of the Thirteen.Brought into Existence to battle Unicron, he was named Megatronus, and for a time, fought bravely alongside his 12 brothers, before being captured, bent to Unicron's will, and ultimately betraying his brothers. After Unicron's vanquishing, Megatronus, now known simply as The Fallen, set out into the Universe to find his evil Master's Essence and restore him to full strength.Jhiaxus and his supporters left Cybertron during the reign of Straxus, fearful of the Warlord's wrath, although being Decepticons themselves. The constant waring seemed endless, even now with Cybertron under a single ruler, and so Jhiaxus ordered his troops to leave their home, vowing to return one day and reclaim Cybertron. In their journey out into the stars, they came across the critically injured form of an enormous Being. In its possession was a Covenant of Primus, an ancient tome that gave insight into Cybertron's future. Not wishing
The (Great) XalThe Xal, or the Great Xal, is one prophesied to ascend from among the mortal in the time known as the Rectification, or the Transcension - a day when all Cybertronian life stops for an instant, and in that instant, the Xal must declare it worthy of continuation, or else strip it from Existence. This day is foretold in the final pages of the Covenant of Primus, but it gives no insight into the outcome, as that is beyond the eye of even Primus himself. The Xal is also a constellation of Stars in the shape of a Sword in the Ancient Cybertronian Zodiac.
The MaximalsThe Autobots stationed on Earth, and those operating the cargo convoys between Earth and Cybertron, were constantly the targets of lightning raids by dissident Predacon forces. The Alliance between the Autobots and Decepticons was said to be an important stepping stone towards peace, and towards defeating the Cybertronain Empire as such, orders were handed down that no Autobot was to fire on the raiders, at the risk of destabilising the Alliance.Autobots stationed on Earth were tired of being target practise for these rogue Decepticons, so if an Autobot couldn't fire back, then they had to become something else. The Maximals were born.Designed to give the Autobots their teeth back, the Maximals were signatories of no truce and happily took the fight back to the Predacons.Soon all Autobots stationed on Earth adopted the title. When Prime refused Megatron's request of sharing the new Proto-Matter technology, and Megatron accepted his decision, Razorclaw would have no more of th
The PredaconsThe Predacons were a loyal sub-group of the larger Decepticon Army. Their leader was Razorclaw, and together with his bestial brothers: Divebomb, Tantrum, Rampage and Headstrong, they combined to form Predaking a terrifying gestalt. The Predacons served Galvatron after the events of 2005, but whispers of dissent were growing some were wary of their new leader's increasingly insane plans for reconquering Cybertron. If a replacement had to be found, Razorclaw would be a popular choice.A coup never came, as Megatron returned in a new form, and the Predacons reaffirmed their loyalty to the old leader. The arrival of the Cybertronian Empire saw an Alliance brokered between the Autobots and Decepticons. It was assumed by many that after the Empire were defeated that the Alliance would be nullified. But after Jhiaxus' death the Alliance remained in place, much to the angst of Razorclaw and his Predacon brothers. Whispers started again.Razorclaw had been secretly ordering raids
The OneIn the very early days of creation came an entity known as The One. It grew so powerful that it ascended from the Physical Realm to Trans-Dimensional Space; apparently one of the first Beings to do so in the whole of the Multiverse. From there it learnt more about existence, and in time, ascended once again to the Astral Plane, forgoing any physicality whatsoever. From this vantage point, it observed the still burgeoning Universes, the balance of light and dark that occurred throughout them, and the life that sprung from their every corner. The One created two Beings, brothers, and named them Unicron and Primus. Their only task was to grow and understand existence for themselves, from their place in Trans-Dimensional Space, without interfering in the natural order of things on the Reality below. The One then transcended from all existence, leaving his two Sons to explore, learn and grow, hoping that they might one day join it in whatever lay beyond.
The Astral PlaneBeings that evolve past the need for a physical form ascend to the Astral Plane. It is a Reality of pure enlightenment, using the position to oversee events on the lower Realities. It was from here that The One created Unicron and Primus is Trans-Dimensional Space, before it transcended existence altogether. This lead the young Primus to muse that a fourth level of Reality might exist, but over the millennia he has come to the conclusion that an answer to that mystery will only come by evolving to such a point and transcending existence also. The Astral Plane is the final stage of any species' evolution, taking billions of years to achieve.
Trans-Dimensional SpaceTrans-Dimensional Space is the Reality that exists between the gaps in Space and between the differing Universes of the Multiverse. This Reality has laws of a physical nature, but they are different to those that exist on the Reality below.Entities and Intelligences born in the Physical Realm that evolve to a great extent may ascend to Trans-Dimensional Space. The One, creator of Unicron and Primus, was told to be one of the first Beings to make the ascension.Trans-Dimensional Space is home to both the Allspark and Nexus Zero.TransWarp Technology tears a hole in the fabric of Time and Space (in the Physical Reality) and allows swift passage from differing points by traversing Trans-Dimensional Space.
