Tantrum was one of the original Predacons, and part of the gigantic combiner Predaking.
In a big turning point in the War, the Autobots and Maximals believed they'd killed four of the five Predacons in a ferocious battle, leaving only the leader Razorclaw. While the Sparks of Tantrum and Rampage were indeed extinguished, those of Divebomb and Headstrong pulsed on.
