The Alignment was the process through which the Liege Maximo wished to ascend to a higher plane of Existence. The Hub, a giant resonating structure, was constructed to see through the Liege's plan and facilitate the Alignment. The process would ultimately fail, the Liege Maximo would die and the Hub would be destroyed.
